Urban Art & Summer Vibes!  Our summer event took place on a mellow Thursday afternoon, on 22nd July.  We had the revelation of our new image of urban art just outside Medley, as well as our new summer arrivals along with our familiar artpieces and handcrafts and it was all accompanied with cool drinks and appetizers and best of all, great friends and visitors! Katerina Moraitou Markianou chose to decorate the telephone cable box with two hoopoes, a colourful bird that's been appearing in Athens since ancient times. She was inspired by ancient greek art, the Acropolis and its museum, the Ilias Lalaounis Jewelry Museum collection and also the public school and playground across the road. All are landmarks around where Medley is situated!
